Still got mine, its been in pieces since my Daughter arrived 2+ years ago

Looking to move house this year, so its going up the priority order.

I am finally working on mine. When I say "working", there is not much to do. I have been having a look underneath, cleaning some 11 year old dried crud off here and there and am pretty impressed with everything. I have bought some Dynax S50 but really pleased with how clean and solid the underbody is, dry storage has helped. I have replaced the HP pump belt, rises nice and steady now with no squeals and the steering is better. This is just in and out of the garage

Also changed the oil with the mandatory Purflux filter. Cambelt was done a couple of years back as a precaution so should be fine but wise to have a look.
I have a leaking caliper to address where the hose enters (threads gone), plus a bit more checking around. The weather is slowing things up and I have a garden project to start shortly but there is light at the end of this very long tunnel and being on the road may not be too far off provided it is ahead of winter, that is my goal.

In respect of who could be, I could but with the loooooong winter, I am not and it looks like it will stay that way until all the salt has been thoroughly washed away. It was a dry day today but my car arrived home covered in a white layer of dust. Imagine what that will do to a 28 year old. Plus some nice warm weather will make it a bit more appealing.

Mine is again now

Was MOT'd this time last year, only 2 minor advisories and then ended up going back in the garage for another year.

So in total has been off the road for nearly 5.5 years, based upon the tax disc in the window expiring end of 12.2017.

However on Easter Monday, service was done. Oil and filter change, coolant dropped out and replaced, cambelt changed as well just in case plus a good inspection and fettle of the rest of the car.

Also now insured, so just got to get the tax paid and then go and give it a test run on the local bypasses

Mines still on the road. I started an instagram account for it to try to build up my own enthusiasm for the car, it's doing pretty well and has certainly helped motivate me.

Mine is no longer with me, but it will be back.

I dragged it down to Stroud last month where it will be titivated while I move house.

A change of job sees me surrounded by people actually interested in cars which should make living with a BX a pleasure rather than a chore.

Well.

It started as a bit of putting back together and a check over. Its since turned into various bits of welding (KwikFitted sill ends) and replacement of the windscreen. In theory the screen only needs lifting the damaged caused by the poor fitting repaired, and putting back in. Its one of those lists of jobs of issues that came with the car and I never got around to sorting.

Taxed again after several months on SORN, not sure how often it will get out but I made time today and had drive in the nice weather.

Hi! Finally logged in after being away for a while. Lot's of stuff changed in my life, currently living in Switzerland (from Portugal), but the 16valve was always roadworthy, even if it's not looking as great as it could, 3 or 4 rust spots and totally failed clear coat mostly on top (project for next year probably). Currently has 250.000 km, and I'm wondering if I should do some preventive maintenance, as I've heard a lot of bad stories regarding the bottom end around 250-300k kms... After one of the original diff satelites gave up it's life about 3 years ago and cracked the diff cover, I upgraded it to a Quaife LSD, repared the cracks and was up and running again. Need to create a log on the forum of all the stuff...

Well, here it is next to my other Citroen, a CX Athena, on the day I went to get it from the mechanic after changing the AC compressor. Now I need to fix the blower fan, found out the faults, need to see how to fix them (all in the controls), but will leave that to it's own topic.
