I have a 16V BX that has sat for the last 10+ years but still no rust anywhere to be found! It had a new cambelt and service just before I stopped driving it (with sticker on cover) but I have not tried to start it just in case. The car will need to be trailered away. I don't really want to sell it hence my brother and I have kept it for 23 years but I cant see me ever doing anything with it (I sold it to him in the late 90s but when he bought his Lotus Elan (which he still has) he asked if I wanted to buy it back. It has done around 90k from new. I am open to suggestions but I will not sell this car for parts but only to someone who will get it back on the road. Engine, suspension, interior and gearbox etc were all faultless before we stopped using it.

Tim

It is a G reg low spoiler model. I am Wymondham way. You can call me on 07503000959 if you want to chat about it. I may and get an MOT on it soon and sell it on a classic site if I hear nothing back on this site.

I'd get an MoT on it. The values have shot up recently, and are continuing to do so. It'll probably be worth, both in terms of the financial aspects, as well as trying to ensure it goes to a good home; It'll be more likely to be looked after if someone spunked a couple of grand on buying it

Do you have any pictures and a local garage that could mot it if i bought it. I would buy it off you and then get it collected by the garage. any idea how much to buy and mot it. I used to have a red 16v about 20 years ago and would like to relive my youth ,( if i can afford it),as i remember it fondly. Thanks Ian
